Apply for a job through TikTok: TikTok is testing a job search tool that allows users to directly submit video resumes to companies like Chipotle, Target and Shopify.

The short-term pilot program, called TikTok Resumes, builds on content that has appeared organically on the platform, such as #CareerTok, as well as the company’s targeted initiatives to influence college students and young users. More than 30 companies have signed up to accept resumes as part of a pilot project that runs through July 31.

Users will have to create a video resume, post it on TikTok, and then send the video to recruiters through the app. The training video for the pilot program recommends that job seekers not include personal contact information, such as email address, in the video posted to the public.

Some of the jobs listed include content creation for TikTok, which means more and more brands are using the platform with already savvy content developers. For example, Alo Yoga is hiring a social media manager through TikTok Resumes to develop a TikTok strategy for the brand and collaborate with influencers. Others are looking for presenters and video producers who will work across multiple platforms, like the Detroit Pistons’ ad for a video producer or Allrecipes’ ad for a on-camera presenter.

Companies like Target, Chipotle, Sweetgreen and Great Clips are also using the platform to find entry-level and mid-level employees for in-store and warehouse jobs, as well as full-time and corporate positions. Shopify is looking for a senior data engineer as part of a pilot project.

If you’re very strong, you may also qualify as a WWE superstar.

Although the pilot is temporary, it demonstrates how TikTok is thinking about training and creating an ecosystem of professional content creators to further develop its impact. It’s an easy way to find corporations looking to make money from Generation Z and savvy and influential creators looking for full-time jobs.

Resumes for TikTok will be accepted from July 7 through July 31. And for those with long resumes, thankfully, TikTok is offering three-minute videos.
