Twitter will stop cropping images on your timeline: Just days after WhatsApp stopped cropping images and videos that you send in chats, Twitter has announced that it’s doing the same.
The change will make many photographers, artists, and social media managers very happy as their tall images will appear on Twitter exactly the way they imagined.
It is unclear if videos will also remain uncropped with this update.

Up until now, 16:9 and 4:3 aspect-ratio images appeared cropped in the Twitter timeline and would only appear fully when a user tapped on the cropped preview.
After announcing 4K image uploads last month, Twitter is now Twitter has announced that it will now stop cropping tall images on your timeline.
Twitter initially announced a test for this change last month – around the same time it announced the ability to upload and view 4K images on its platform.
